The Fort Pierce Tribune (15 Jul 1919) described William McClure as "a prosperous hotel owner, having a fine property and hotel in Marcus Hook (PA)…." J. J. Pitchford purchased the property during the 1920s and it changed hands again to John Dordan in the 1930s.&#13;
