Herman Reitz, owner of a chartering service, added the Sailfisher II in 1946, captained by Ralph Hartman Jr., who had been recently released by the Army Transport Command at Miami Beach. The boat was custom built by the Pinecastle Boat and Construction Co. of Titusville.</text>
