Collection includes photographs of family members and unidentified individuals, membership cards, correspondence, school and church publications, invitations, certificates, and other ephemera. Includes Stuart Training School diplomas and report cards, Lincoln Junior College (Fort Pierce, Fla.) informational letters, a National School of Business brochure, St. Monica Episcopal Church publications, memorial service programs (removed to the BHI Memorial Service Programs collection), and the program for the 1984 Martin County Black Heritage Festival.</text>

This collection was taken from Violet Taylor's former home by Sandra and Tom Thurlow on July 14, 2007 after the house was scheduled for immediate demolition.&#13;

Collection includes photographs of family members and unidentified individuals, membership cards, correspondence, school and church publications, invitations, certificates, and other ephemera. Includes Stuart Training School diplomas and report cards, Lincoln Junior College (Fort Pierce, Fla.) informational letters, a National School of Business brochure, St. Monica Episcopal Church publications, memorial service programs (removed to the BHI Memorial Service Programs collection), and the program for the 1984 Martin County Black Heritage Festival.</text>

                  <text>Violet Taylor (1910-2005) lived her entire life in Jensen Beach, primarily in her family home on NE Savanna Road in the Tick Ridge area. She was a member of St. Monica's Episcopal Church of Stuart and many other community organizations, including Club Excelsa and the National Association of Colored Women's Club.&#13;
&#13;
This collection was taken from Violet Taylor's former home by Sandra and Tom Thurlow on July 14, 2007 after the house was scheduled for immediate demolition.&#13;
&#13;
Collection includes photographs of family members and unidentified individuals, membership cards, correspondence, school and church publications, invitations, certificates, and other ephemera. Includes Stuart Training School diplomas and report cards, Lincoln Junior College (Fort Pierce, Fla.) informational letters, a National School of Business brochure, St. Monica Episcopal Church publications, memorial service programs (removed to the BHI Memorial Service Programs collection), and the program for the 1984 Martin County Black Heritage Festival.</text>
