Several pioneer families of Indiantown are significantly featured, including the Slay, Hataway, Roland, Rowell, Simmons, Priest, and Holt families. Also includes a small collection of images from a scrapbook featuring material on the Indiantown Company.

Many images were used in a family history display constructed by students at the Warfield Elementary School at Indiantown, "100+ years in Indiantown : A Photographic Timeline display boards." They featured chiefly copies of photographs and clippings affixed to large foam core board, created by Warfield Elementary Second Grade Classes in 2009. The project was noted as being funded by a class enrichment grant from the Martin Educational Foundation to Warfield Elementary teachers Deborah Banks, Robin Newman, Alexis Rooney, Deborah Hutchens, Corinne Rodrigues, Jennifer Deyarmond, and Carol Rey for a project entitled "My Family, My Heritage." Photos used are noted as being from the Elisabeth Lahti Library in Indiantown. They were then transferred to the Historical Society of Martin County/Elliott Museum. </text>

</text>

</text>

</text>

</text>
