"Florida Growers" parade float featuring pineapples and grapefruit, 1926
Parade float of pineapples and grapefruit by Florida Growers, Inc., which was organized in 1922 by Carroll Dunscombe and was the largest producer of pineapples in Florida at the time.
In celebration of the 1925 establishment of Martin County, the town of Stuart hosted a series of events on 28 and 29 January 1926, including a large parade. Governor John Wellborn Martin attended as a special guest. -

Harry Beckman, of Philadelphia, owned and operated the Stuart Marine Service between 1933 and 1946. Located at the juncture of the north and south forks of the St. Lucie River. -

Crowd of adults and children stand on and around the front porch of the one room schoolhouse in Palm City. Outhouse, water pump, and horse and carriage also in view. The building also functioned as a Sunday school. The structure was built around 1914 and was located on Loop Road, near what became Zarrella Farm. -
