  • Infant Lydia Glass held by her "Aunt Florrie" near the Stuart Feed Store and other buildings on Flagler Avenue in Stuart. The woman identified as "Aunt Florrie" may be Florida Kitching (1884-1970), sister to the infant's mother, Edith Kitching Glass.
  • Crowd of adults and children pose next to large tent for the Stuart Bible Conference held in March 1911. Miami and Ft. Lauderdale newspapers advertised the event at the time and highlighted the inclusion of Dr. J. M. Gray, dean of Moody Institute in Chicago, as a speaker of note for the conference.

    Listed in the FPC record book 1 (PDF p. 116) as "3537 Bible Conference, Stuart, Fred"

    Published in the Stuart News (9 Jan 1964) with the caption: "This tent housed a Bible Conference held near Stuart Hotel, with the Rev. Neil McQuarrie in charge, on March 5-15, 1911."
  • Langley Kitching (1835-1910), brother to Stuart pioneers Walter, Broster and Sylvanus Kitching. An explorer and botanist, Langley kept meticulous journals, including his observations of flora, during his travels visiting Society of Friends missionaries in South Africa and Madagascar.

  • Golfing portrait of Vince Bocchino, Jr. Bocchino was a resident of Jensen Beach for over 50 years and served as a superintendent at the Martin County Parks Department. He was integral in helping preserve, move (from Stuart) and rebuild the historic Log Cabin in Jensen. The Jensen Beach community center also in Langford Park was named in his honor.
  • Golfing portrait of Jackson Hartman. As a businessman, he owned Hartman oil and partnered in the Hartman-Leighton Furniture Store. Hartman also served as a Stuart city commissioner and mayor in 1960, 1961 and 1967.
  • Golf portrait of Walter Rein, Jr. lifelong Stuart resident. Rein worked as a supervisor at Florida Power & Light for 38 years.
