  • Palm Villa Hotel surrounded by palm trees. Published in the Stuart News, 25th Historical Edition (9 Nov 1950) with the caption "This riverfront resort hotel of 19 rooms was a popular mecca for tourists during the early years of Palm City's development. It was built in 1913. In 192[6 or 8>] when the first major hurricane struck this section it was damaged beyond repair."

  • Partial letter sent from a mother (Sarah Broster Kitching, 1804-1888) to her eldest daughter (Maria Kitching, 1831-1857) away at school. Upper portion of letter missing.
