Published in the Stuart News, 25th Historical Edition (9 Nov 1950) with the caption "This riverfront resort hotel of 19 rooms was a popular mecca for tourists during the early years of Palm City's development. It was built in 1913. In 192[6 or 8>] when the first major hurricane struck this section it was damaged beyond repair."
