Stanley Kitching, c. 1950
Portrait of Stanley Kitching. Kitching was an early merchant in Stuart and served the city as both a mayor and city commissioner. He was instrumental in establishing the St. Lucie Yacht Club in 1916 and served as its first Commodore.
