  • View of Evans Crary bridge over the St. Lucie River in Stuart. The Evans Crary bridge was opened on January 8, 1958 but not dedicated and named until February 19, 1966. The back caption reads "Northside view of the new bridge to ocean at Stuart, Florida."
  • Three women pose at a Stuart chrysanthemum flower farm. Message written on back of postcard reads "Greeting to You, Vern. How are you? These chrysanthemums are raised just north of Stuart which is 11 miles north of us. The stretch of there (sic) flowers is very beautiful. At night, they have lights all around the whole lots with net covering all over the top. It is a lovely sight especially at night with the lights on. I'll bet your gardens are beautiful now. Hope you keep [?] Vern, you have so much to do. We both send our love, Chas & Adele."

  • Greetings from Stuart with sailfish. Caption on correspondence side reads "The 'greatest' Sport Fish in Florida -- and the most sought after of all game fish. Weighs up to 100 pounds and up to 8 feet in length -- however the average size caught is usually 40 pounds. Caught the year 'round."

  • View of pineapple field with two workers pushing wheel barrels full of pineapples. Body of water seen in the background. Postmarked from St. Petersburg, Florida on March 29, 1925. Message on back written to "Brother" John Muralf in Moscow, Iowa from "Sebastian".

  • House with widow's walk. Note included with postcard reads "This house belonged to Blanche & Will Harris and it was just south of the Walton Inn on Indian River Dr. It no longer stands. -Duke Mervin."
