<text>Line drawing of Driftwood Inn in Vero Beach. One of seven illustrations of county landmarks and points of interest along the Treasure Coast commissioned by American Pioneer Savings Bank (1986-1990). Back caption reads "Using natural cypress and pieces of lumber from buildings devastated during the 1935 hurricane, area pioneer Waldo Sexton built what is now the scenic Driftwood Inn. A collector by nature, Sexton became especially known for his vast accumulation of bells, which reputedly included a bell used by Harriet Beecher Stowe to call her workers. As Vero Beach grew, Sexton donated many of his bells to the newly-built churches. One of a series of seven prints and postcards depicting historical landmarks and points of interests along the Treasure Coast of Florida, these illustrations are available exclusively through American Pioneer Savings Bank."</text>
