Riptide Club pool, located off St. Lucie Blvd, to the east of Stuart. Photograph published in the Stuart News (24 Jul 1952) with caption "Two local young woman prepare to frolic in the attractive 75 by 35-ft. swimming pool at the Riptide Club just east of Stuart. The pool's 1-meter board on the north end is in the foreground. At left is the beach club where drinks and sandwiches are served in an aura of relaxation, and in the distance at right is the main club building. Out of the picture to the left is a shower and lockers building."
A girl dives into the pool at the Sunrise Inn and another girl positions herself on the diving board to follow the first. The girls were taking part in a Red Cross swim class.
