Published in the Stuart News (24 Dec 1953, p. 2) with the caption: "Santa visits at drive-in theatre. This group of 17 youngsters was just a small portion of the great number that greeted Santa Claus when he visited at the Stuart Drive-In Theatre Sunday night for an hour. Large gathering of people for a "treasure hunt" on Treasure Island (in Halpatiokee Regional Park in 2026), 13 March 1926, at the newly established River Forest real estate development near Stuart. Several hold shovels, ready to search for the treasure buried by the River Forest Land Syndicate, the sponsors of the event and owners of the real estate property.

People gathered for a picnic lunch and treasure hunt event on "Treasure Island," (in Halpatiokee Regional Park in 2026) part of the newly established River Forest real estate development near Stuart. A treasure hunt event and lunch was held on 13 March 1926 to advertise the property.
Recorded in the Florida Photographic Concern Record Book #2 (PDF p. 61) as "9756=70 Lyons River Forest Views, Stuart, (photographer not listed)"
Photograph commissioned by local realtor, Harry Lyons, who along with his real estate partners established the River Forest Land Syndicate, which began selling parcels of land near the South Fork of the St. Lucie River in 1926.
