Royal Palm Chevrolet, 1927
Two men alongside a car. Published in the South Florida Developer (2 Sep 1927, p 9). Royal Palm Chevrolet was opened in the Krueger building in 1925 by Roswell Walker and J.C. Alexander. After being purchased by E.A. Fuge and son Percy in 1929, the family operated the business until 1955, when it was purchased by Bill Greene. -

According to the Stuart News (04 Jul 1963), a new location for Web Ordway Motors was built on the property previously occupied by the Kenneth Wright tropical fish farm around 1963. Ponds from the fish farm in view behind the dealership. Kenneth Wright relocated his fish farm to a larger property between Cove & Salerno Roads during the 1950s. -
Hayes Motor Company, 1950
Published in the Stuart News (9 Nov 1950) in advertisement for the reopening of Hayes Motor Company after the 1949 hurricane destroyed the former structure. Caption with photograph reads "Our new hurricane proof building, completed last Spring, on the site where the destructive blow of August, 1949, completely demolished our former garage. With modern showrooms, service and repair facilities, Hayes Motor Co. is 'brand new with 1950.'" -
