Description

Binder marked "autographs" containing letters and other papers, each featuring a signature of a prominent person, including artists, politicians, and authors.

Many of the items are letters sent to museum director Janet Hutchinson or to Village editor Emeline Paige. Letters added later (after the list was made) are generally addressed to Elizabeth Press.

A list of autographs in the binder indicates that three autographs are in 2025 were missing:
- Willard M. Kiplinger, Washington editor - 6/28, 10/30, 11/9/56, 5/3/57
- Raymond Owen - author - 4/4/84
- Guy Wiggins, artist - Christmas 1948
