In the photo, both the north and southbound lanes, travel on the original Old Roosevelt Bridge, which eventually became the northbound lane and a second bridge opened later in 1964 as the southbound lane. When the New Roosevelt Bridge was built in 1996, the original northbound bridge was torn down. -
